We had a class Charlie (electrical) fire when we began testing on our new Power Router board.

The board allowed power from the batteries to energize our computers and motors.  It also protected  our boat reverse polarity, power surges, and it protected our batteries from being overdrawn.

Our board was supposed to be rated at 40 Amps.  However, we never made it passed 22 Amps due to an overlooked power trace.

The flames from the board rose about 8″ above the board and were blue, red, white, and violet.  Lasting about 10 seconds, the fire managed to char the top part of the boat.
